A software engineer with 12 years of experience and 100+ shipped projects, specializing in cloud, security, and AI. I operate under the name ProtoCode — a boutique studio for teams that need serious engineering, without the overhead.
I've spent the last 12 years turning ambiguous problems into software that quietly works — over 100 shipped projects across startups, agencies, and platform teams. The throughline has always been the same: build systems people can trust.
I care about the boring things. Correctness. Observability. The ability to sleep at night while your product handles real traffic. That's what compliance and security give you when they're done right.
Three disciplines, deeply integrated: cloud architecture, security engineering, and applied AI. Most projects touch all three — modern products need infrastructure that's fast, safe, and increasingly intelligent. On the cloud side I work primarily with AWS and Cloudflare.
ProtoCode is the studio I built to work the way I always wanted to work — with fewer meetings, tighter feedback loops, and a bias toward writing code that outlasts the trend cycle. It's a one-engineer operation with occasional trusted collaborators — small enough to move quickly, senior enough to make the right architectural calls the first time.

I grew up in Zrenjanin — a small town in northern Serbia, on the banks of the Begej. It's the kind of place where people still know their neighbors, and where the community shapes you as much as your family does. That's where my curiosity for building things started.
In my early years as an engineer I gave back where I could — mentoring local students, helping small organizations set up their first proper software, and pitching in on community initiatives. I still live here today, and I still support the community from time to time. Distance is a solved problem; roots are worth keeping.
